BOOK LAUNCH PARTY - Congratulations to Teresa Sells on the publication of her new book, Globe-trotter Meditations: Eighty Devotionals around the World.  Teresa’s new book offers a unique blend of thought-provoking spiritual principles tied to exotic locations around the globe.  Please help us celebrate with Teresa at a Book Launch Party to be held in the PVBC fellowship hall TODAY from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.  Books will be available for purchase and for author signing.  Light refreshments will be provided.

QUARTERLY CONGREGATIONAL MEETING - Plan to join us this evening to hear reports on latest developments at PVBC. Updates will be given by the Senior Pastor Search Committee, the Finance Committee, Hispanic Vacation Bible School, Building Refurbishing, and Missions. Last quarter’s minutes and finance reports are available in the foyers. Please read those before the meeting. There will be an opportunity for questions and corrections at the meeting.

BAPTISM - The New Testament teaches that baptism is the initiation, the first step, in a life of discipleship. It is the public testimony of your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We will have a Baptismal service on Sunday, August 8, during our Sunday in the Park picnic. If you would like to be baptized, please contact one of the pastors. A baptismal class will be held on Saturday, July 31, at 9:00 a.m. in Pastor Porter’s office.

VEGETABLE TABLE - Starting today there is a table in the West Foyer, between the two sets of entry doors, where you will find produce. Anyone may bring in any extra produce they have and anyone may take any produce that is on this table. You do not need to bring produce to take produce. This is just a way for those having extra to get it out to those who can use it. Please feel free to help yourself, because we don’t want to find a table full of vegetables left on Monday morning.

WINONA LAKE PROPHECY CONFERENCE - The Friends of Israel Winona Lake Prophecy Conference will be held July 25 - 30 at the Orthopedic Capital Center. Check out the flyer on the bulletin board by the office for more information or by visiting their Website, www.foi.org.

50^TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE - Please join our family on this joyous occasion when our parents Fred and Delores Plastow celebrate 50 years of marriage, Saturday, July 31, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Your presence will be your gift to us.

SUNDAY IN THE PARK will be held on Sunday, August 8, beginning at 5:00 p.m. PVBC will furnish the hotdogs. Each family needs to bring their own side dishes and drinks, as well as lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. We will have a time of fellowship, singing and a baptismal service following the picnic. You are encouraged to invite your family and friends to join us for this outdoor service.

BRIDAL SHOWER FOR MELISSA MUNDY - All church ladies and daughters are invited to a bridal shower for Melissa on Sunday, August 15, from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. INFANT NURSERY WORKERS NEEDED - We have several opportunities available. We need 1 helper for the 1^st Sunday night each month and 1 helper for the 5^th Sunday of the month starting in August, for the evening service.  Beginning in September, we need 1 helper for Sunday school every 3 months. THREE-YEAR-OLD CLASS - We are looking for 2 people to teach the 3-year- old Sunday school class beginning in October.

OWLS - We will need a teacher for the Owls class that meets Sunday nights starting in October.

TOYS NEEDED - We’re looking for new or gently used toys to replace some of the worn out toys in the children’s classrooms. If you have any toys for ages 2-6 that you’d like to donate, including books, puzzles, dolls, plastic animals, cars or other items, please place them in the collection box in the church office.
